Equine Care

Our goal at UF Veterinary Hospital at WEC is to offer top-notch veterinary care for performance horses and their owners.

Located at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL

Our equine hospital provides exceptional care for performance horses with a team of UF College of Veterinary Medicine faculty members, all of whom are board-certified in equine sports medicine. We understand the unique demands of equestrian competition and offer services including comprehensive performance evaluations, lameness diagnostics and pre-purchase examinations.

The hospital features state-of-the-art imaging technology, including CT, PET, low-field MRI and high-powered radiography — all interpreted by board-certified veterinary radiologists. This advanced imaging suite allows precise diagnosis of complex conditions in both elite equine athletes and companion horses.

Our rehabilitation center offers customized treatment plans using aquatread therapy, halotherapy, vibration therapy, laser treatments, solarium sessions and therapeutic ultrasound to optimize conditioning, performance and recovery.
