Providing 24-hour emergency care conveniently located at UF Veterinary Hospital at WEC – adjacent to Barn W.
Our experienced ER doctors with access to board-certified Diplomates of American College Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care are here to provide emergency and critical care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.
We are equipped to manage a wide range of emergencies, from traumatic injuries to severe infections. Common conditions we treat include:
- Abdominal pain
- Acute kidney disease
- Acute vomiting or diarrhea
- Animals hit by a car
- Bloat (gastric dilatation-volvulus, GDV)
- Breathing difficulties
- Complications of chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes)
- Fractures
- Heart failure or severe arrhythmias
