Financial Services

The UF Veterinary Hospitals receive limited financial support from the State of Florida. In order to fund our programs, we must charge competitive prices for all services and procedures. Fees for outpatient visits are to be paid in full at the time of service. Hospital admission, including emergencies, requires a deposit of 75% of the cost estimate with the balance due at time of discharge. Cost estimates can only be given after the animal is examined.

We accept cash, checks and major credit cards. Individuals other than the owner admitting an animal must provide written treatment authorization signed by the owner or be able to assume financial responsibility for the total cost of the visit.
